Gmpeg is a media player for Linux. Can be integrated with the Gnome Desktop. Gmpeg supports/plays mpeg files with video and or audio. Gmpeg is based on the GTK+ and Gnome library. Gmpeg is free-Software  in the terms of the GNU general public license.

Gmpeg uses the GTK+ library for the user interface. And the `mpeg' support comes from the SDL/SMPEG library. So it depends on the SDL library. May be after some time we may release the mpeglib version.
